I really admire Djuna Barnes' book, Ladies Almanac, so I took her name for PV. Like Djuna, I'm an artist, writer, and a little bit eccentric, although my family life was not quite as messed up as hers!

Heh. A set using the most unlikely color I could think of associated with Einstein.

This is a set about the disaster in the Gulf. It will affect all of us for decades to come. It is very likely that the oil will travel up the entire East Coast, and there will be severe economic and environmental fallout--not only in America, but in the world.

And unfortunately, to varying degrees, we are all complicit and accountable. We've constructed our lives to revolve around cars, plastic, and infinite sundry uses for petroleum derivatives. Everything from laundry detergent to lipstick, and myriad other banal consumables are derived from petroleum. Consider making small changes that you can sustain in your lifestyle--cumulatively it can affect the balance positively.
